Nathalie Auber has been with Sofinnova Ventures since 1996. She is a Certified Public Accountant in California and an "Expert Comptable" (CPA equivalent) in France. She was Director of Internal Audit for a publicly traded company, Catellus Development Corp., for five years. Prior to that she had seven years of experience with Deloitte and Touche, both in Paris and in San Francisco. She holds a Finance degree from the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Rouen (France). She is Treasurer and Member of the Board of Directors of the French-American Chamber of Commerce in San Francisco. Nathalie is responsible for the administrative aspects of all Sofinnova Venture funds.

Alfred Yue joined Sofinnova Ventures as Director of Finance in 2007. He is a Certified Public Accountant in California, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in the United Kingdom. He was the Director of Finance for Telespree Communications, and worked in the finance departments of The Coca-Cola Company and Gateway Computer. He also worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Hong Kong. He received his MBA from the Darden Business School at University of Virginia and BA in Accounting from Hong Kong Baptist College.

Lany rounds out Sofinnova Ventures’ finance team. Prior to joining us in 2004, Lany was a senior auditor/accountant with the San Francisco accounting firm of Lindquist, von Husen & Joyce, where she prepared financial statements and executed audit engagements under GAAP, GAAS and OMB A-133. She was also a payroll system consultant for New York Life Insurance Company in New York. Lany earned her BBA in Accounting from Bernard M. Baruch College, the City University of New York, and is a licensed CPA in the state of California.
