Justin joined Sofinnova as an Analyst in 2026, where he focuses on biopharmaceutical investments across a range of disease areas and therapeutic modalities.
Prior to joining Sofinnova, Justin completed his PhD in Metabolic Biology at UC Berkeley and a postdoc at UCSF, where his research spanned antisense oligonucleotides for targeting RNA viruses to small molecules for treating severe metabolic conditions. During his academic training, he worked as a fellow with Fusion Fund, Life Science Angels, and Sofinnova, as well as scientific co-founder for ReRx Therapeutics, a biotech spinout based on his dissertation research.
Justin received his PhD in Metabolic Biology and BA in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley.
